I know this car, it's a minter, if anyone's interested in it PM me and I'll put you in touch with the owner.

Nothing new to add to the 996 market watch since last week. Still just the minter at 90K, two cars with history and the Malton 'RS'.

Really difficult to judge the market on these cars. We've an undisclosed write-off at £55K (Aspect Cars) and Unclepezza's £90K minter. No idea where mine fits into the mix but I do know it's a truly fantastic car.

Just tried to locate Aspect Cars but they seem to have disappeared?

I'd agree they're very difficult to price at the moment. The only cars coming onto the market are either near perfect or have colourful histories - that gives you a huge difference in pricing.

I can't see how a sensible miles, no damage 996 can be worth less than £60k looking at what else you can get for that money in 911 shape. 997s seem to have gone up a bit.

This is my take on the current market for a decent car.

993 - £500k+

996mk1 - £65-70k

996mk2 - £80k

997 - £95k

997RS - £250k

That's my expert opinion, although I'm no expert :)

Surely the mk.1 6GT2 should be more than the mk.2? Just like the mk.1 6GT3 is ;)

If average mk.2 6GT3's are now at £50K then there should be a significant gap to the 6GT2 in my opinion.

The fact that no 996 GT2s are for sale says everything. Reading various forums over the last year or so there seem to have been a lot more people searching for them and snapping up the good ones when they come up for sale. I remember when I owned my 996 there was generally 5-10 for sale at any time and they'd take ages to shift. Things have definitely changed, price rises are inevitable.

That would be nice! Although the only car I'd currently want to trade for is a 997 GT2.

Mine is still tucked away in my garage on it's c-tek, it just looks menacing everytime I pop in and check on it.....

Had a couple of calls when it was listed for sale, but nothing came of them and then I decided I would be mad to sell it.

It's all worked out very well as the move the US in most definitely off!

Really? Thought that was looking very likely. More active members of team GT2 UK now though, so no bad thing

Shame I seem to be out of the loop. There's not a whole lot going on in South Wales.

Came close to considering advertising mine over the weekend. A colleague is thinking about selling his sail boat. Something I've always wanted.
